Response to the argument

      My partner’s opinion is that helpers play a direct part in traditional Cinderella but helpers play an indirect role in the film. Specifically, the birds promote the transformation directly. Without the birds, Cinderella has to do heavy labor and no opportunities to join in dancing party, which Cinderella has no chance to get real love and has a happy life. But in the film, helper Tami is only accelerates the transformation. If Tami doesn’t help heroine, maybe Mary and joey will be together at last.

      I think my partner think about the question seriously. But I disagree with her opinions. I think Tami plays a direct part in promoting Mary and joey to be together. Because when Mary’s guardian require her to do heavy labor so that she can’t join in the dancing party, Mary has no opportunities to join in the party without the help of Tami. At that time, Mary decides to give up taking part in the dancing party. But Tami looks for many people to help her do heavy labor and it solves the main worry of Mary. And when there are many misunderstandings happen between Mary and joey. Maybe they will reconcile even if Tami does nothing. At that time, Mary has thought joey is played with her feelings. It’s hard to receive him for Mary. And joey needs to spend more time to prove his real heart. Who can guarantee that her guardian’s daughters wouldn’t create more misunderstanding? What’s more, joey doesn’t know the reason why Mary wants to break up. If he thinks Mary is a vexatious girl. Maybe he will lose the feelings of her. And we all know, rift soul is hard to repair. If Tami doesn’t explain and help to them, maybe the ending of them is apart.

     So I think Tami plays a direct and important role in the film to help them to be together.

                       Invisible discrimination

    The main idea of “mutant rights” is discrimination. Not only it happened in X-men, but it also took place in real life.

     For example, the basic rights of gay can’t be guaranteed. Gays are equal to other people in law. But gays are treated unfair in society. When it comes to gay, people will connect it to Aids. As we all know, the main reason of aids is promiscuity. And people think gay is equivalent to promiscuity. It’s very unjust for gay. In fact, most of them only want to process simple love. But the society treats them very unfair. Maybe they will lose job and are discriminated by others. And their family will require them to break up and their friends won’t support them. They are lonely and pressure in the world. In fact, they do nothing wrong, they get unfair treat. Many people always say “ it’s not my business”. But when they know their relatives or friends are gay, they can’t accept it. They try to persuade gay to give up and come back the “normal” road.

It’s also a kind of hurt and invisible discrimination. The law bans the marriage of gay in china. many people bring forward the suggestions. It’s a perfect idea. Many people can depart from dark. They can breath under sun free. It’s simple for people, but it is impossible for gay.

    There are many similar things in our daily life. The phenomenon of discriminating women is very serious in spring festival party such as call women reach-me-down. It is not most serious thing. The most serious thing is most of people include many women think it is normal. When women haven’t married man before 30, they are failure. It’s ridiculous and unfair. It’s a normal thing for woman to give up jobs and take care children and husband. Status depends on economy in a family. woman should learn to own their money and live for herself. Of course, your husband won’t respect you even if you have enough money. At least, you can leave him and get more free life.

     At last, I want to say that sex, sexuality or physical disability can’t become excess to discriminate. Everyone is equally in the world.

                                    Dancing Cinderella

    A movie named “another Cinderella story” is similar to traditional story of story.

    In the movie, the heroine is a kind and studious girl. After her parents died, she was treated badly by her guardian and her daughters. Joey is a superstar, he returned to school to keep selfhood. They appeal to themselves by dancing in a mask dance. After a series of difficulties, she got the love of joey and notice of her dream university. I define it as a Cinderella story because there are some similar elements in common.

    For example, the heroine is treated badly by her guardian and her guardian’s sisters. And the defined object is a player. Joey find her who is his dream girl by the player. There is a helper named tami. She helped them to solve some misunderstandings and gave the heroine support all the time. The villains are her guardian and guardian’s two daughters. They treated mary badly and thought of many bad thoughts to bream them up. The transformation is a thing that she dancing with hero in a mask dance. Then they fell in love with each other. The ending is very happy that mary got a romantic love and a notice of her dream university.

                                  Lucky  cinderella

  Many years ago, there was a beautiful and kind girl. Unfortunately, her mother died of severe illness. She was treated badly by her stepmother and two sisters. Her sisters were beautiful of face but vile of heart. They forced her to do housework from morning till evening.

 all day doing homework, her is covered with ash.  She was named Cinderella. One day her father went out and asked them what they wanted to. Her sisters chose to possess beautiful dresses peals and jewels. Cinderella wanted to have branch and she went to her mother’s grave and planted the branch on it. It grew and became a handsome tree. A little white bird came to the tree and helped her to come her dream true. The king’s son wanted to choose a beautiful bride. So he invited all the beautiful young girl during three days. Cinderella also wanted to participate in dancing party. At first, her stepmother emptied a dish of lentils into the ashes and asked her to picked them out again. She wished birds to help her but her stepmother laughed at her. Her stepmother said she had no beautiful clothes. She went to her mother’s grave and prayed for a dress. The trees came her dream tree. The first two days she escaped successful but the last day she left slipper. The prince looked for her by looking for the owner of slipper. Her two sisters wanted to wear the slipper by cutting their foot off. At the last of the story, the prince and Cinderella had a happy life.
